    SENIOR SURVEY TECHNICIAN / SURVEY TECHNICAL MANAGER

    Managed geodetic control planning, execution, processing, and adjustments for GNSS & conventional surveying methods. Assisted project surveyor with research on boundary retracements, and monument recoveries. Used existing data sources to control, read, and interpret plans and specifications for civil construction projects. Processed incoming field data for CAD department, and evaluated and tested new equipment for purchasing.

    Contributions:

    • Researched, designed, installed, and configured NGS Cooperative (Coop) CORS stations.
    • Developed feature codes/attribute libraries, and trained survey associates on DTM/TIN modeling.
    • Oversaw maintenance of company robotic instruments, total stations, data collectors, laser levels and digital levels.

Underground traversing in old tunnel workings to collect the locations of Geologist’s metallurgical sample sites to add to model.

    Contributions:

    • Analyzed geological modeling and mine planning data, using MEDS mine consulting software.
    • Implemented master mine progress AutoCAD drawings (as-built) and provided daily updates.
    • Appointed as IT Specialist for Engineering and Geology Dept. computer systems by Mine Manager.
