Attend NSPS Virtual Day on the Hill April 20-21, 2021
Participation is FREE
Each year NSPS engages in “citizen lobbying” on behalf of the surveying profession in an effort to help raise the surveying profession profile in Congress, as well as educate Congressmen and Senators on relevant legislation. Past NSPS efforts have proven to be very effective. The recent enactment of the Digital Coast Act, the National Landslide Preparedness Act, a provision in the Senate’s highway bill, and other legislation supported and impacted by NSPS provide evidence of the success of the society’s efforts.
Due to COVID restrictions this year’s Congressional visits will be virtual. NSPS will create meetings with your state’s Congressmen and Senators, along with other participating surveyors from your state. These state delegation meetings on ZOOM will result in targeted, localized discussions between NSPS members and their state representatives in Congress.
Be a part of the national conversation! Participation is free and you will connect with your representatives in Washington DC. Attendees are welcome to register and just listen if you prefer not to speak during a meeting.
To participate, please register below. Please note: you may live and work in different Congressional districts, so please provide address information for both your home and office in order for meetings with both representatives, if applicable.
