Central Oregon PLSO Chapter Meeting

Where: Olde Towne Pizza Company, 118 NW Greenwood Avenue, Bend, Oregon 97701

When: Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

I thought we might switch things up a little bit again, and hit up a fairly old school place in Bend: Olde Town Pizza. Pizza, beer, soda, chicken, jo jo’s, hot subs—yum. Don’t be scared that it’s almost in downtown Bend— there is a parking lot behind the restaurant off of NW Kearney Avenue, just west of Hill Street. And there should be a good amount of street parking on Kearney in the evening as well. Enter on Greenwood, or walk through the parking lot to the back door like a local.

The folks there are super nice and said they should easily be able to accommodate our group, and there are three large tables that we can use. Beverage and food are counter-service, with food delivered to your table— pretty tasty on both counts. Check it out here: www.oldetownepizzabend.com. Even though there should be plenty of room, please give Chris Munson an RSVP at chris@munson-assoc.com if you plan on coming so that we can take the amount of tables and chairs that we need and leave the rest for others.

• • Pauline Hardie, Senior Planner with the City of Bend, was instrumental in drafting and implementing recent new development code changes at the City. Pauline will give a presentation and take questions regarding matters of special interest to local surveyors, including changes to minimum lot sizes and setbacks, residential compatibility standards, lot coverage and floor area ratios, and duplexes, triplexes & quadplexes in residential zones.
• Policy Changes at the Deschutes County Surveyor’s Office
• • Kevin Samuel, Deschutes County Surveyor, will go over some recent policy changes at the Surveyor’s Office, including post-monumentation deposits, sheet size requirements, property consolidation surveys, and requests for public land corner restorations. Old Business
